NANS Ondo G4 Commends Governor Ayedatiwa’s Youth-Inclusive Agenda

The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ondo G4 bloc, has applauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for his inclusive approach to youth and student affairs, reaffirming its commitment to work with the state government to advance student welfare and development.

During a strategic meeting held on Monday, July 21st, student union leaders from various tertiary institutions across the state gathered with key government officials in what was described as a significant step towards deeper collaboration between the student body and the state government.

Speaking on behalf of the bloc, G4 Leader, Comrade Antoz, expressed gratitude to the Ondo State Government for its consistent support, especially during the electoral process.

He highlighted the governor’s youth-inclusive policies as a cornerstone of effective governance in the state.

“We appreciate the governor’s student-friendly disposition and open-door policy towards youth development,” Comr. Joshua stated.

Also speaking, outgoing JCC Chairman and G4 Convener, Comrade Oluwarotimi Tobiloba Joshua (Josh), pledged continued loyalty to Governor Ayedatiwa’s administration, noting that NANS G4 is committed to playing a vital role in promoting peace and development across campuses.

Comrade Surprise, another student leader, commended the Governor’s student-friendly policies and open-door approach to youth engagement. He urged fellow student leaders to seize the opportunity for partnership with government to drive meaningful change in the education sector.

In response, the Governor’s representative commended the G4 bloc for their peaceful conduct and unity during the election period, describing them as “pillars of stability in a time of transition.”

He announced that the government would now engage directly with the G4 bloc, affirming their autonomy and role in shaping student governance in the state.“

Although some institutional offices may still be polarized, this administration will relate independently with G4 to promote clarity, accountability, and progress,” he said.

Plans were also unveiled for a collaborative NANS G4-led program focusing on student welfare, which will involve key government stakeholders, student senators, and community leaders in a bid to further strengthen state-student relations.

With a renewed spirit of partnership, both parties pledged to pursue their agendas in harmony, promoting mutual respect and collective development.

As the outgoing chairman put it: “The future belongs to those who prepare for it today. NANS Ondo G4 stands firm, recognized, and ready to serve.”
