The Nigeria Football Federation has revealed the Super Falcons’ new kits made by Nike, blending national pride, bold design, and cultural inspiration for WAFCON 2025.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has teamed up with American sportswear giant Nike to unveil brand-new jerseys for the Super Falcons.
These fresh kits will be worn by the national women’s football team during the upcoming 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, set to run from July 5 to July 26.
The new designs were officially revealed on Wednesday, May 14, through the NFF’s official social media platform. The announcement read: “New kit. Same pride. The @NGSuper_Falcons, New Jersey is here — bold, fearless, and made for champions.”
The home jersey stands out with its dominant green color and bold brushstroke patterns across the chest and sleeves. The patterns are inspired by traditional Nigerian artwork, celebrating the country’s culture while capturing the fearless and confident spirit of the team.
The away kit, on the other hand, blends white and green with fine detailing. It features stylish patterns and a textured look, giving it a fresh, modern appeal. Neon green highlights appear on the Nike logo, the redesigned NFF crest, and the word “NAIJA”, which is neatly printed under the collar for an added modern touch.
Although the new kits have been revealed, there’s no official word yet on when they will be available for fans to buy. Supporters are eagerly waiting for the chance to wear the same gear as their favorite players.
The Super Falcons will first wear their new kits in two friendly games against Cameroon’s national team, the Indomitable Lionesses. The first match will be played on May 31 in Ikenne, and the second on June 3 in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
These games are part of the Falcons’ final preparations for the continental tournament. The team hopes to lift their tenth Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title and strengthen their legacy as the most successful side in the competition’s history.
