Comfort Emmanson, the woman at the centre of the viral Ibom Air altercation, has just scored a major phone upgrade and a major career opportunity.
Businessman Oga Uby announced on Facebook that Comfort Emmanson will be getting an iPhone 16 Pro Max to replace the phone damaged during her much-publicized face-off with Ibom Air crew and security personnel. But that’s not all, she’s also signed a four-year contract as a brand ambassador for Tubex Logistics Services.
The gesture comes on the heels of earlier offers from Ossai Ovie Success, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor, and businessman Francis Van-Lare, who promised her an all-expenses-paid trip to Qatar and Turkey.
Emmanson first made headlines when footage of her heated exchange aboard an Ibom Air flight spread online, eventually leading to her arrest and remand at Kirikiri Correctional Centre. She was later released after Police formally withdrew the case, saying both the airline and the complainant had lost interest in pursuing it.
With the controversy now behind her, Comfort seems to be turning public attention into personal wins from travel perks to luxury tech and long-term endorsement deals.
