Speaking to journalists in Abuja, the CEO of an agricultural service investor, Oluwasegun Alabi highlighted the critical role of engaging seasoned experts with a deep understanding of the field to provide strategic guidance for tackling food security issues.
Alabi expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with various stakeholders, including individuals, businesses, governmental entities, and parastatals, to realize this vision.
Additionally, he revealed his agency’s ambitious plan to empower 50,000 Nigerian youths and farmers by providing them with 50,000 hectares of land, aiming to generate employment and enhance rural communities.
The entrepreneur; though not in support of the policy to making Agricultural science as an option in Primary and Secondary School curriculum, noted that Nigeria losses more that One Point Five Billion Naira to pineapple importation.
