WWE Star Oba Femi Reveals How Pastor, Church Members Changed His Life (Video)

Nigerian-born WWE superstar Oba Femi has shared an emotional account of how his Pastor and Church community played a major role in shaping his life and supporting his journey abroad before his rise to international fame.

Speaking during an interview, the wrestler reflected on his early years in Nigeria and the guidance he received from his pastor, identified as Femi Paul, whom he described as a father figure and mentor during difficult moments in his relationship with his parents.

According to Oba Femi, the Pastor constantly encouraged him to honour and respect his parents even during periods of tension and misunderstanding.

He always reminded me never to disrespect my parents, even when emotions were high,” the WWE superstar said. “He believed that parents carry blessings for their children, and I truly believe the prayers and positivity from my parents shaped the life I have today.”

The wrestler also revealed that members of his Church community came together financially to support his relocation to the United States years ago, a gesture he says changed the direction of his life permanently.

Giving special recognition to Grace AssemblyOba Femi said the Church community stood by him at a critical point in his journey and provided encouragement beyond financial assistance.

“That community helped me a lot. My Pastor said many wise things that stayed with me over the years, and their support meant everything,” he added.

His comments quickly sparked reactions online, with many social media users praising Churches that invest in members’ welfare and personal development rather than focusing solely on financial contributions.
