Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appointed Nigerian music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face as the State’s Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The appointment, which was officially announced by the State Governor in a viral video, is part of the administration’s strategic move to tap into the entertainment industry as a tool for youth empowerment, community development, and positive social impact.

2Face, a proud indigene of Benue State, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential music icons. Beyond his chart-topping hits, he has earned global recognition for his philanthropic efforts through the 2Baba Foundation, focusing on peacebuilding, education, and good governance.
According to the State Government, 2Face’s vast experience and influence in the entertainment industry will be instrumental in engaging the youth and driving initiatives that promote unity, creativity, and social development across Benue communities.
