The House of Representatives has urged Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to consider the completion of the JAMB office in Gbongan A,yedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.
Hon. Lanre Oladebo, who raised the motion, expressed concerns over the unutilised 270 computer equipment supplied to Gbongan JAMB office due to non-completion of the office complex.
He also expressed worry about the increasing number of students in 2024 JAMB registration without without a corresponding increase in JAMB CBT centres.
Hon. Oladebo emphasized the need for JAMB to approve the opening of new office in the State, particularly in Apomu town, Isokan Local Government Area of Osun State to help carter for the students in Ikire, Apomu, Orile Owu Town and the neighbouring communities.
