Nigeria military troops have vowed to protect the country’s territorial, water and airspace from any form of attack by the terrorists, reports MJConcept TV News.
Accordingly, troops are on high alert and have increased their presence in readiness to protect the country from attack; particularly during the yuletide.
Major General Edward Buba, the Director Defence Media Operations said in a statement made available to page3news.com.ng in Abuja on Friday that, “troops are on high alert and have increased readiness to protect the country from further terrorist aggression, particularly during the yuletide. Robust operations targeted at terrorist leadership are being conducted across the various theatres of operations.”
General Buba assured that, troops are bent on achieving sustainable peace in the nation by ensuring that the terrorists are held account for any act of aggression against citizens.
